Inter and Volvo continue partnership
APPIANO GENTILE - Twenty-five Nerazzurri received Volvo vehicles today during a ceremony held in Appiano Gentile following the renewed partnership between Volvo Auto Italia and FC Internazionale. Volvo Auto Italia CEO Michele Crisci was the man handing over the cars and among the directors who drove away with a new Volvo was president Moratti, who went for the flagship S80 model.
The most popular car with the players was the Volvo XC60, nearly always with the D5 engine and Summum specs. There were some new V40s too - Javier Zanetti opted for that particular vehicle. Completing the line-up of Volvo's fleet for FC Internazionale were the XC90 and C70 models. Black Sapphire and Ice White were the most popular colours.
As in previous seasons, Volvo's provision of vehicles to FC Internazionale aims to take into account the different mobility needs of the club and the team.
Volvo Auto Italia and FC Internazionale began their partnership in 2007 and since then both parties have achieved a series of successes. The two companies were side by side during FC Internazionale's centenary celebrations as well as the club's Champions League triumph, while Volvo have launched a number of important models such as the XC60, V60 and V40. A partnership built over the years that has been mutually satisfying for both sides.
